1. Legal Nature of Risk Intelligence Reports
VeriSupplier reports and ratings represent a **static risk profile** generated at a specific point in time based on the exact documents and public data available during the audit window.
2. Input Integrity & Buyer Submission Warranties
The reliability of a VeriSupplier audit is strictly limited by the quality and authenticity of the materials you upload.
Warranties of Authenticity
The buyer warrants that all uploaded invoices, Proforma Invoices (PIs), business licenses, stamps, and bank beneficiary letters are genuine, unaltered, and legally obtained. If you submit modified, spoofed, or forged documents (such as an invoice intercepted and altered by an email hacker), our analysis will evaluate the spoofed document as is. VeriSupplier is not liable for errors arising from corrupted inputs.
3. Buyer Final Decision & Independent Audits
Sourcing risk is multi-dimensional. A supplier with perfect corporate registries can still suffer raw material delays, factory fires, or cargo damage. Therefore, **a VeriSupplier report must be treated as one of multiple procurement indicators.** Sourcing teams must remain responsible for planning independent product quality inspections, arranging shipping logistics insurance, drafting formal purchase contracts, and making the final decision to authorize any bank wire transfers.
4. Limitation of Liability to Service Fees
Because we do not control your funds, shipping processes, or supplier communications, we establish strict boundaries on financial recourse:
Liability Capped at Amount Paid
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VeriSupplier, its analysts, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential financial losses (including lost deposits, wire fraud losses, supplier default costs, or project delays) arising from your transactions. In all events, **our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall be strictly capped at the total amount you paid to us for the specific risk audit service.**
5. Service Modification & Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to decline verification audits if the target supplier cannot be verified due to incomplete registers, lack of public footprint, or if the documents submitted are unreadable. In cases where an audit cannot be completed because required information is legally unavailable or non-existent in China registry databases, we will notify the buyer and may issue a credit or alternative review path as detailed in our Refund Policy.
